About
Hey, I'm Sudhanshu. I'm a software engineer at JP Morgan Chase, where I spend my time building backend systems and data platforms — and lately wiring up LLM agents to automate the parts of engineering that nobody enjoys.
I studied Computer Science at BITS Pilani and joined JPMC shortly after graduating in 2022. In the summer of 2023 I got to contribute to FreeBSD through Google Summer of Code, which was one of the better decisions I've made — good codebase, good mentors, genuinely learned a lot.
Outside of work I maintain a few open source projects, most notably BootBaker, a tool for managing bootable OS environments that started as a personal itch and turned into something other people actually use.

Backend systems, data engineering, and LLM tooling
Port infrastructure and tooling under Google Summer of Code.
GPA 8.85/10. Where I picked up systems thinking and way too many side projects.
Outside the terminal
I'm a big fan of open-world games with real craft behind them. Alan Wake 2 was something else — story, atmosphere, the whole thing. Genshin Impact has its hooks in me despite my best efforts. The backlog keeps growing faster than I can clear it.
Linux has been my daily driver for years and I enjoy the rabbit holes it leads into — kernel configs, custom distros, self-hosting whatever I can. There's something satisfying about owning the stack end to end.
I play guitar, mostly self-taught and mostly learning by ear. Music is a big part of how I decompress. I also read — slower than I'd like, but consistently.
